April Featured Studio: Present Practice

Present Practice was founded by Morgan O’Hare with a simple intention: to create a global sanctuary for self-discovery. What began with Morgan’s first international yoga retreat in 2019 has grown into a worldwide community rooted in the understanding that yoga is both a practice and a path: a practice of showing up fully in each moment and a path to becoming who we are meant to be.

Today, the flagship studio is located at 206 E 4th St in downtown Austin, where they've built a space designed to feel grounding, inspiring, intentional, and welcoming. The space is designed to inspire wanderlust and discovery, with special features like 10ft tall doors from Morocco and an 18th century Chinese altar table. The studio is more than a place to take class: it’s a hub for connection, growth, and long-term commitment to practice. They offer heated and non-heated classes, workshops, special events, and in-studio 200-hour and 300-hour Yoga Alliance–certified teacher trainings. Their training school has become one of the most respected and comprehensive programs in the industry, with immersive 200hr and 300hr YTTs held both in Austin and abroad in locations like Costa Rica, Thailand, and Bali.

Beyond Austin, Present Practice hosts 12 international retreats in 2026 in destinations including Kenya, Bhutan, the Philippines, Portugal, Peru, and more. Each retreat and training is built around the same core ethos: community first, depth over trend, and yoga as a vehicle for self-inquiry and aligned action.

They also offer an online studio with on-demand classes and expanding livestream offerings, allowing their global community to practice with them from anywhere.

What makes Present Practice special is the through-line across everything they offer. Whether you walk into the Austin studio, join a retreat in Bhutan, enroll in a teacher training in Thailand, or practice with them online, you experience the same thing: a strong container for growth and a community that supports you in living from the inside out.

"Community is truly the core of everything we do at Present Practice, and we'd be honored to welcome you into ours!"
